Washington Mardi Gras festivities for 2026!

Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. and Major General Andreé Carter invite you to join them in our Nation's Capital for what promises to be a return of all the magic that is Washington Mardi Gras! Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. of the 2nd Congressional District, who served as chair of the 76th Washington Mardi Gras, has announced that Gray Stream, a Lake Charles-based business executive, investor, conservationist, and philanthropist, will reign as King of the 2026 ball. Sarah Heebe, a sophomore at Yale University and a graduate of Metairie Park Country Day School, will be Queen of the celebration. 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Tickets are $2,500.00 per person. $2,500.00 covers both official Washington Mardi Gras events, hosted by the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians, at the Washington Hilton Hotel:

• Friday, January 30 – Formal dinner dance with the royal court presentation (two tickets)
• Saturday, January 31 – Washington Mardi Gras ball and parade (two tickets) 
  

HOW TO PAY AND REGISTER
For accounting purposes, it is necessary that all guests make out one personal check to "Build the Bench PAC" or pay online here.

All payments for event tickets will be mailed to the address in the Ticket Reservation Form no later than December 20, 2025.

No delayed payment exceptions exist. We cannot and will not hold any tickets for payment at a later date. There will not be refunds for unused Friday / Saturday night tickets or Build The Bench PAC.

If we have not received your payment by the December 20, 2025 at 5pm, deadline, your tickets will no longer be available for Washington Mardi Gras 2026.

To secure your tickets, submit the reservation form and payment by  December 20, 2025 at 5pm.
